Join SHE Advises for Emergency First Aid (EFAW) training.
This 1-day course provides delegates with a greater understanding of first aid and gives learners the skills and confidence to respond to a range of accidents and first aid emergencies that they could encounter in the workplace.
EFAW training enables a first aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work in the vital minutes before the emergency services arrive. This course will cover the following areas:
- Role of the first aider
- Assessing the situation and casualty
- Dealing with an unconscious casualty
- Performing C.P.R (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
- Choking
- Wounds and bleeding
- Shock
- Burns
- Minor conditions
- Any client specific requirements
This course is for people who want to gain accreditation as a First Aider where your workplace risk assessment has indicated an E.F.A.W certificate is needed.
