Welcome to SHE Advises. We comprise of Chartered Safety and Health Practitioners, former HSE inspectors, chartered members of CIWM and other certified professionals, expert in health, safety and environmental risk management principles, working with SME’s, micro-businesses and large organisations.
We are a Silver NEBOSH Learning Partner, an IOSH Approved Training Partner, a UKATA Approved Training Provider and a Highfield Qualifications Approved Centre.
At the heart of our consultancy is the fundamental belief that businesses should possess the skills to manage their own safety, health, and environmental responsibilities themselves. We provide hands-on consultancy to empower you to develop the experience and understanding you need to be able to achieve this goal.
We spend time getting to know and understand your business and your own specific challenges. We’re keen to understand your ethos, aims and objectives as well as we understand our own.
We support you to develop systems which fit your business model and align with your objectives, whether that’s to simply meet minimum legal compliance requirements or go the extra mile in your health and safety commitments by achieving continuous improvement, and perhaps a recognised standard.
We don’t achieve compliance for you; we don’t make the improvements you need. Instead, we give you the knowledge, systems and experience you require to achieve this for yourselves. Rather than make you reliant on us, we make you competent in your own right.
In addition to our own team and resources, we also have access to a group of trusted partner organisations and individuals in related professions. Each has to perform to our own Competence Model standards before we allow them to work with clients, to assure clients that every service you receive is in line with our own high standards of conduct, service and professionalism.
Our service includes tracking your efforts to achieve and improve on health and safety standards in your organisation, and we provide you with consultants who are experienced, qualified, and have a passion for protecting the health and safety of your employees and any other persons your business may affect.
We guide you through the available resources and help you understand which parts are relevant and which are not and develop a Safety, Health and Environmental management system that is tailored to your business operations.
We currently work with up to 100 businesses at any time, combining a balance of retained clients and those who come to us for one-off projects and ad hoc support.
