Join SHE Advises for IOSH Managing Safely® Refresher training which is designed to provide continued support to anyone in a management or supervisory role who has completed the full Managing Safely® course.
IOSH Managing Safely® is a nationally recognised, respected and certificated course. Designed and quality controlled by the Chartered body for Health and Safety professionals, the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). This course is recognised by The Health and Safety Executive as evidence of training towards competency.
The Managing Safely® Refresher is a practical classroom-based course, full of step-by-step guidance, with a clear business focus. The format and content keep your staff interested and stimulated throughout the course – critical to getting safety and health embedded across the whole organisation.
Revise key management responsibilities from the full IOSH Managing Safely® course. Update relevant changes in good practice guidance, health and safety legislation and standards.
The course will cover issues such as:
- Revisiting managing safely and recap some of the key terms.
- Assessing risks.
- Controlling risks.
- Incident and accident investigation.
- Reviewing performance and acting on lessons learned.
- Understanding your responsibilities.
Delegates get to refresh their knowledge on key parts of the full Managing Safely course by relating them to a plan-do-check-act safety and health management system, with leadership at the heart of it all.
Successful delegates will receive an accredited certificate from IOSH.
